I'm Samantha, owner of Small Business Solutions — a San Jose-based bookkeeping practice built for small business owners who need their numbers to actually make sense. I'm not a national platform or an outsourced team; I'm a licensed local business owner working with other local business owners, one direct relationship at a time.

I started this business because I saw the same pattern over and over: capable owners running good businesses, undone by books they didn't trust and didn't have time to fix. Bookkeeping isn't the part of the job you love — it's mine.

Before this, I worked outside of finance, including time spent managing the books and operations side of a dental office — so I've sat on the other side of the desk, buried in the same reconciliations and messy spreadsheets I now untangle for clients. I'm Intuit Academy Certified in Bookkeeping and Tax Preparation, hold an active City of San Jose business license and Santa Clara County DBA, and work exclusively in QuickBooks Online. When you work with me, you're working with me — not a rotating team, not a support ticket.
